Attitude for 23rd of March 2011

A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition” by William Arthur Ward.

A lot of people suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) nowadays. It is pretty tough for them during fall and winter. I remember when I had English classes during winter or a fall I would ask my students if the weather affected their mood much. Most of them would answer positively. This is the situation with most people. They are not in control of their moods and feelings, because they are not in control of their thoughts and attitude. So, they need a sunny day to feel well. Most probably they could only be happy living in California or Spain where they have a lot of sun.

But that is not necessary. You need ‘a sunny disposition’ in order to feel well. It could be very cloudy outside and very sunny inside. If ‘the sun is shining in your mind’ your feelings will hardly ever be depressing. How do you get that sunny disposition? You need to hear a positive message on a daily basis. We hear so many bad words. Some are directed towards us, others towards other people. These negative words bring in ‘cloudy thoughts and cloudy feelings’. Shut yourself from this type of information and tune to the channel where you can get a positive message every day. I hope the blog helps you somewhat. Develop your own methodology how to keep that sunny disposition on a daily basis and no SAD will affect you. You will always be GLAD. See you tomorrow with a sunny disposition.
