This is another page on my blog and it is called Bible verse of the day. I will select one verse from the book each day. I will sometimes comment on it and sometimes just leave it as it is for your encouragement and inspiration. I hope you will start loving the Book after reading these daily verses. God bless you.
Bible verse of the day 4
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 91 Psalm 1-2 New International Version (NIV).
Bible verse of the day 3
"23 Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? 26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."
Luke 9:23-26 New International Version (NIV)
A disciple of Christ will never think how to accumulate large amounts of things in this world for he knows that he will never be able to take them with him when he dies. Salvation of the soul is the key message in the Bible. You’d better be sure that you have Christ as your Savior than to have money, career or other things as means of your security. You will leave the latter behind, but if you have Christ you will have an everlasting joy.
Bible verse of the day 2
“7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”
Bible verse of the day 1
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" King James Version (KJV).
