Thought for the day 16th of April 2011

The world is full of cactus, but we don’t have to sit on it” by Will Foley.

I meet so many people who are fatalists. They simply believe that whatever happened in their lives it had been meant or predestined to be that way. There are some people who believe in predestination. It means that before the creation of the world God predestined some people to go to heaven and some to hell. I do not believe that way. I believe that God has given us a free will and we can use it as we decide. Of course, we will have to give an account to Him one day, but still the will is free.

So, if some BS (sorry) comes to your life it does not mean you have to accept it sheepishly. It does not mean you cannot reject it or resist it. Yes, you can. Yes, you should. Yes, please do. Maybe the stuff came as a consequence of your poor choices, but again it does not mean you cannot make necessary changes and get rid of the stuff. It will definitely come to you from time to time, but it is your choice what to do with it. You might swallow it or you might kick it back. I hope you will wisely make the second choice.
