Thought for the day 17th of May 2011
“The human spirit is stronger than anything that can happen to it” by C.C. Scott.
Our souls are the sources of our strength. However, our souls in the same fashion as our bodies have to feed on something. Your body will not be strong if it eats very little or eats food that doesn’t give strength. Our souls also need food daily. Your soul is eternal and it feeds on eternal things. Thoughts on faith, love, joy, patience and eternal good should be part of your ration. This will keep up your soul alive and strong.
Your soul also is kept alive by dreams. You have to spend some time each week (maybe even each day) thinking about things you want to achieve in life. Try to see yourself in that position, state or environment where you want to be. Try to think and imagine how it will help others. Don’t be egoistic. Life that is spent only for your selfish purposes will never give you inner satisfaction, even if you achieve great things. So, when you feed on these kind of spiritual thoughts, nobody and nothing will be able to defeat you, for you will be strong enough to endure anything.
