Thought for the day 10th of May 2011

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big ones” by Robert Brault.

A long journey starts from one small step. Then comes another one and the third one. This continues till you reach the destination of your trip. If you looked at the distance that you have to cover and compared it to your small steps you might feel that the steps are so insignificant that you might lose courage to continue. But that’s how ancient people used to travel. One step at a time! This is not how we travel nowadays. Cars, ships to say nothing of planes have speeded up the process of travelling. We can get to any place in the world within twenty four hours.

However, a journey towards achievements stays the same. No cars, ships or planes in spiritual realm. You make one step at a time towards achieving something significant. There is no sprint in this realm. Everybody makes attempts, fails, falls, picks himself up again and continues the journey. Some stop and do not go anywhere. They just go with the flow of people who have no objectives in life. They think that it is not worthwhile wasting time going with a pace of a snail towards something. That’s why they do not get anywhere.

Don’t you despise those little steps and small lessons that you take while taking the steps. They are priceless. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes for ‘they are part of the game’. It is only now that they look very little and insignificant. One day you will look back and see that they were an inseparable part of your journey to achieve your dreams and targets. Everything matters! Stay positive about your success and don’t give up.
