“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God” Romans 15:7.
God loved us to the point that He gave His Son to die for our sins. He did not have to do it. He could have left us to die in our sins. However, He decided to accept us, to forgive us and to give us eternal life. His life changing power is supposed to transform us from inside out and make us like God is. We should accept one another.
I do not mean we have to tolerate bad stuff (sin). I mean we have to learn how to forgive each other and forget the bad that has been done towards us. That’s how God behaved towards us. We have done a lot of bad things towards Him. But He has forgiven everything. And He continues doing that. And He will continue doing that. He himself is an example for us how we could forgive our family members, friends and even our enemies absolutely everything. It is easier said than done, but I do not believe we have another choice if we want to live in spiritual freedom. Let God help you to do that.
