Thought for the day 5th of September 2011

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anythingJames 1:2-4

Most of us try to avoid trials, problems and various life tests. None of us want difficulties. People just want easy lives. However, here, the Bible tells us that we should rejoice when we face troubles. Why? Trials make us stronger. Of course, we have to get out victories from those situations. Otherwise, we don’t gain anything from those.

There is no other way to develop strong character, deep and effective beliefs and become a mature personality. Let us learn to look at all situations that come our way as opportunities for growth. This kind of optimistic approach towards negative things that come our way make it easier to handle the stuff and come out as winners. This winning attitude is probably the biggest inner tool for personal development that we have. The exterior circumstances are times when we can use the tool effectively. God bless you in your attempts to be a winner in everything you do.
