„But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” Acts 1:8.
There is a power in Christian life. If there is not, I doubt if that is a real type of Christianity. Jesus promised to send His followers His Holy Spirit that would help us to continue His works. Power is necessary to prove to others that God is real and that Jesus is the only Redeemer that has redeemed the world from it’s sin.
Power is also necessary to live a victorious Christian life. You cannot change your life by the power of your will or your morality. Morality and your will fail at some point. You need inner strength, spiritual strength to suppress carnal, sinful desires of yours and to cherish those that come from God and from your reborn spirit. Ask God to give you His Holy Spirit and transform it by His power. God bless you.
