7 Positive thoughts for healing from Bible

This post will give you fives positive quotes from the Bible regarding healing with brief comments of mine about each verse. Hope those will inspire you to believe that you can be healed. God bless you.

Proverbs 12:18: “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Comment: Words have power to heal or bring diseases. Watch what your mouth speaks. You may bless or curse yourself with your own words.

Jeremiah 33:6: “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”

Comment: Israel sinned against God and different afflictions and illnesses came to their lives. Nevertheless, God is good and He heals his people.

Ezekiel 47:12: “Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”

Comment: This is a promise of redemption. Jesus died not only for our sins, but also for our diseases. Trust his redemption.

Matthew 4:23: “Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.”

Comment: Take note that Jesus healed all manner of diseases and illnesses. That includes your trouble.

Luke 9:6: “So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.”

Comment: Wherever good news is preached, diseases are healed. That is part of the gospel.

Acts 10:38: “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”

Comment: A source of all diseases identified: it is the power of the devil. And Jesus breaks the power of the source by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 103:2-3: “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases…”

Comment: The Lord has a lot of benefits for you. It starts with forgiving your sins and continues with healing your diseases. The best part is that he forgives all of your sins and He heals all of your diseases.

Conclusion:

Good is good and he has positive news for you. He wants to heal you. Physical healing is part of his redemption plan. Take courage, you are not forgotten. Pray to Him for deliverance and He will answer you.

Yours with love,

Vytas.

Thought for the day 5th of September 2011

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anythingJames 1:2-4

Most of us try to avoid trials, problems and various life tests. None of us want difficulties. People just want easy lives. However, here, the Bible tells us that we should rejoice when we face troubles. Why? Trials make us stronger. Of course, we have to get out victories from those situations. Otherwise, we don’t gain anything from those.

There is no other way to develop strong character, deep and effective beliefs and become a mature personality. Let us learn to look at all situations that come our way as opportunities for growth. This kind of optimistic approach towards negative things that come our way make it easier to handle the stuff and come out as winners. This winning attitude is probably the biggest inner tool for personal development that we have. The exterior circumstances are times when we can use the tool effectively. God bless you in your attempts to be a winner in everything you do.

Attitude for 3rd of April 2011

You must start with a positive attitude or you will surely end without one” Carrie Latet.

We know that the ending of everything you do is the most important thing. You may start well, but if you lose the right attitude for doing the thing you will surely end up on a pathetic note. However, beginnings are very important. It does not matter how insignificant they might look, they can lead you to tremendous things which you have never dreamed of. You must have a positive attitude at the very start of all your endeavors

I would not even encourage you to start anything without believing that you are going to succeed. Doubts and unbelief will paralyze your creative powers and you will hardly achieve something positive with a negative attitude in your mind. To tell the truth I believe that when you get some new ideas you should carry them in your mind long enough for them to get mature and not share them with others till you are sure that you will not lose faith in your ability to implement those ideas. Most people find great pleasure in criticizing and killing new ideas. They think they can see in advance whether you succeed or not. So, be careful when you get a new idea. Keep it for yourself for some time and if you start implementing it be sure you have positive attitude to succeed in your attempts.

Positive attitude tips 2

I am going to continue the topic of positive attitude tips on the ‘thought for today’ blog today. Yesterday I gave you a few tips on how to strengthen your positive thinking and I am going to give you a few more now. Here we go:

Constantly remind yourself good things that have happened in your life. When problems come we tend to concentrate on them. We should actually do the opposite. Remember how you were able to solve this or that problem, remember how you succeeded doing something, and remember how you won. Remember, remember, remember all the good stuff that happened in your life. This will help you to stay on the positive wave.

Help other people to see the bright side in life. By doing this you will reinforce your positive outlook towards the world. You cannot feel happy by concentrating only on your life, your happiness, your family, your job. Egoism makes us unhappy. I believe that everybody of us is called to help others to achieve happiness. By doing that we achieve it ourselves!

Set up goals and pursue them. You cannot have positive attitude if you do not have any goals. If you do not have any goals your positive attitude cannot have direction and if it does not have any direction, it simply loses strength and when it loses strength you slowly fall back to old negative thinking. So, set up your goals.

Keep an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful to God, family, friends and etc. for all the good things that have happened in your life. Start the day by remembering what you have and thanking God for that. Just by doing that you will become a happy person! If you cannot do it spontaneously, you can make a list of those things. Then express your gratitude on a daily basis.

I hope you enjoyed the post and found at least one thing useful thing for yourself. Have a nice day. See you tomorrow.

Positive attitude tips 1

Positive attitude tips are the topic on the ‘Thought for the day’ blog today. In the post I want to give you a few tips on how to develop a positive attitude. I have already said a lot of times that developing positive thinking takes a lot of time. If you are stable taking the necessary steps you will be able to achieve desirable results faster. However, if you have had a negative frame of mind for years, it will surely take some time to change that. So, here are few positive attitude tips to help you develop positive mentality.

Control negative thoughts. I have discussed the point in my previous points, but this should be repeated again and again in order to experience the power of positive attitude. When you notice negative thoughts, change them immediately with the positive ones.

Avoid negative folks and be friends with those who are positive. We catch attitudes and are easily influenced by people who are close to us. Choose to be friends with people who are optimists.

Allow some time daily for self indulgence. There are small things that all of us like. It maybe a cup of coffee in the morning, or a bar of chocolate after lunch! These little things make us feel better and happier.

Go in for sports. A healthy and fit body is a must in order to stay positive daily. It does not have to be something very exhausting like body building or running. Any kind of sports will do. Just do not overdo with that.

Take challenges. It is difficult to develop a positive attitude when you do not have problems. In fact, you do not need a positive attitude when everything is fine and there are no challenges. Of course, all people have problems. Solving your problems and dealing with other challenges successfully strengthens you positive attitude immensely.

That much for today! I will try to continue the post tomorrow and add a few more tips that will help you to develop positive attitude.

Positive attitude and relationships

Positive attitude and relationships are the topic on ‘Thought for the day’ blog today. Positivism is very important in our daily relationships. It is so difficult to be around a person if he or she is always complaining, shares only negative things and sees nothing bright in the future. It naturally destroys relationship. I believe that some people had many more friends if they changed their attitude from negative to positive. If you have a negative attitude it turns to creep into all spheres of life, including relationships. The same can be said about positive attitude. If you have it, it will become an integral part of your relationships, sooner rather than later.

Before people change their attitude towards you, you have to change your attitude towards yourself

I guess some people wonder why they are not respected, valued and so few people want to be around them. There could be many answers to this question. One, which can be applied in many cases, is that these people have very low self esteem and very poor self image. If they expect dignity from other people towards them, they have to see themselves as valuable, important and nice people. If you belittle yourself, condemn for your past, ridicule for lack of talent, do not wonder that other people will look at you in the same way. They will catch your attitude subconsciously and look at you with your own eyes, the same glasses you look at yourself. So, change the way you look at you and more people will value you and want to socialize with you.

Stop talking yourself down

Start thinking more positively about yourself is the first step. Quitting talking negative stuff about you is another. Do not view your failures as something that you could blame and beat yourself for. View them as a way to progress towards perfection. Try saying something nice to yourself and watch how you change and people reaction towards you changes.

This was just a short post, but I hope it helped you just a little bit to see how your positive attitude can affect your relationships.
