Inspirational Bible quotes is the topic of the post on the blog ‘Thought for the day’ today. I have been reading Bible almost every day for about 20 years. It is the Book of the books. I have not found anything better and I do not believe I will find something of the kind. This book gives you eternal life, wisdom, insight and a lot of things that you won’t find anywhere else. I hope you will find it one day too. Let me give you a few quotes from the book just to give you some taste what the Bible is about.
“1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind” gospel of John 1: 1-4.
When I talk to people about Christianity and its power people often ask me about the creation of the world. Most of them do not believe that this is the way how God created the earth. It really is. The Word of God was the substance that made the planet we live on today. Read the book of Genesis (chapter 1) to find out more about that.
“7 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation” 2 Corinthians 5: 17-19.
People are fed up with their sins, bad character traits, old lifestyle and etc. They are searching for power to change them. Big changes can come if we change our thoughts, but that is not all. You need an inner transformation and that comes when you repent of your sins and believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. When you repent of your old sinful lifestyle, Bible says you become a new person. Old life is gone and new one has come.
“Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” gospel of John 11:40.
God loves our faith. It moves Him to do miracles in our lives. Doubt stops us from seeing the miraculous hand of God. Read His Word and learn to trust Him. Then you will see what you have never dreamt to see. The word impossible will disappear from your vocabulary. Is it just because the word does not sound nice or is not right? No, it is because there are no things impossible with God. If you need a miracle in your life, pray to God who created heavens and earth and you will get the answer.
