“How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” John 5:44.
Humans lost the glory of God when they sinned. They have been walking around and searching for it everywhere, but to no avail. Sin separated man from God’s glory. Seeing the situation a man decided to seek for this kind of glory elsewhere. That’s how popularity and fame of the world came. A lot of people desire this today. They want attention, popularity and fame. The lack of God generated this desire in human hearts. There cannot be void in any heart for a long time. It has to be filled. But what do we fill our hearts with?
Human glory, fame and popularity will never fill your heart. It will always give you a short term pleasure, satisfaction and sense of worth. When glory of God is revealed to you, your heart will be filled with eternal joy, love and you will experience spiritual freedom as never before. Many people find it hard to believe God because they are not searching for Him. They pursue human glory instead. You will always find difficulties to trust God if you are going after career, money, popularity and similar things. Put Jesus Christ first and other necessary things shall be added unto you.
