Your beliefs shape you

So often we're seduced into believing that events control our lives and that our environment has shaped who we are today. No greater lie was ever told. It's not the events of our lives that shape us, but our beliefs as to what those events mean” by Anthony Robbins

We like blaming others for things that happen to us and bad circumstance in our lives. People often blame God, parents, school, education and you name it what else for bad luck in their lives. However, they fail to realize that they are really responsible for whatever takes place in their lives. Their beliefs regarding those outside events and people (close or distant) are the real causes of their problems. Change your beliefs and you will change yourself. This is how happiness or unhappiness comes and leaves us.
