Thought for the day April 8th 2011


Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different” by Katherine Mansfield.

I have written about importance of your attitude a dozen times. All this blog is about it. Very often I would stress the idea that when you change the attitude you start seeing the life differently and you also start feeling differently about yourself and the world is around you. However, changing of your attitude goes beyond inner change that happens inside of you after you adopt a completely different approach to life. Your life and the life that is around you start changing too.

Why? Because the law of attraction starts working on your behalf (if you practice a positive attitude) and attracting things you have on your mind. It is so good that happiness does not end on your inside, it starts going out and reaches outside by bringing into your life things you believe for and long for. Therefore, set your mind to think about things you want and not about things you don’t want to. Too many people spend most of their time thinking about things they fear and only a few dare to think only about the things that they desire. Which group do you belong to? I bet you know which group you want to be part of? It is your choice. Join it!

Attitude for 2nd of April 2011


The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes” by William James.

It is not only discovery of William James’ generation. Any person who ever lived and tried to change his attitude saw how his life changed. Most people do not believe it as they do not see very many positive examples around. However, there are plenty of bad examples when a young person starts compromising moral values for some sensual pleasures and starts going astray. You can see how easily his/her life starts going down and if he/she does not stop the person destroys his/her life very fast.

What we should have in mind is that this works both sides. If you accept bad attitudes a natural result is that your life starts going down. But if you accept a good and right attitude your life will start going up. I now know a dozen examples how former drug addicts were ready to commit suicide or it was clear to them that if they do not stop now, they will be dead in a few weeks, but they made drastic decisions by changing their attitudes and purposes in life and everything changed. Most of them are married now, have businesses and lead sober lives. One of my friends is actually a head of a rehabilitation center and a chairman of all rehabilitation centers in my country. I would not continue the story, but you can see that a change in attitude brings serious changes in life. I wish you change your attitude for the better.

Attitude for 18th of March 2011


I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet” ancient Persian saying. 

Do you think you are unlucky? Do you think the life or God is not treating you fairly? Do you think you are a failure, because you do not have this thing, that thing and the one that your neighbor has? Some important questions to think about, isn’t it? Unfortunately, I see so many people that are unhappy for all possible ‘pathetic’ reasons. When it comes to happiness we often think what we don’t have and always forget what we do have. People are unhappy because they do not have things and they forget that there are so many other ‘things’ that they have such as: friends, family, health, freedom and etc. 

What if you lost those? Some people did and they are really unhappy now and struggle to find reasons to be happy. So, what do you focus on: things that you do not have, or things that you do have? Which attitude makes you happy and which one makes you unhappy? I bet you can answer the question. If we really want to be happy we have to switch our focus from ‘don’t have’ to ‘have’. And don’t look at what other people have and you don’t. Try to see what you have and they don’t. This will help you to see the world and your life differently.

Attitude for 17th March 2011

Life without changes would be an awful bore. Imagine the same daily routine, day in and day out, the same job, the same meal every day, the same piece of entertainment. Pretty boring! Now, imagine that you hate what happens in your life on a daily basis. What do you do about it? Some people simply complain and do not do anything beyond that. Can that change anything? Yes, it will make the experience even worse. Do something about it and you will not have to complain. We have power to change things, but we are too lazy to do that. Most people just sit and wait for something to happen. What kind of power can change your life? Abstract? No, it is your willingness put into practice. Do something about it. 

What if nothing happens? It is possible. Some changes come very slowly. One thing that you should do while waiting for the change and speeding it up you have to change your attitude towards the thing that you don’t like. Try to find something positive about it. If it is your job and you cannot start doing the job of your dreams yet, try to see that this job you have now is useful for you now and see it as a preparation for something better. Do not think that you are wasting your time. This can have a very negative impact on your emotions. You are not wasting your time if you put your whole heart into it. You are learning something. You are progressing. You are going forward. When you change your way of thinking about the thing, it won’t be such a bore for you. On the contrary, it can even become a pleasure. And finally you will definitely find yourself in new circumstances. God bless you in your efforts to change your attitude.
