Thought for the day 13th of August 2011

““If you can'?" said Jesus."Everything is possible for him who believes" Mark 9:23.

I think I have mentioned the verse once in my post, but it came back to me today, so I want to say a few things about it again. A troubled father came to Jesus, because Jesus disciples were not able to help the son that was having troubles with some mental disease. Neither could physicians help the poor boy. There had to be a greater power that would set him free. We know that this kind of power is God’s power. However, Jesus mentioned another power that could have solved the problem of the father. What was that power?

It was the power of faith. Faith moves things in the spiritual realms and then we see consequences of that in the physical reality. We need deep inner conviction when we pray to God, that He hears our prayers and answers them. Then power of God can be released and situation changed. Develop and increase your faith by reading Bible passages on faith and then practice it. Miracles will come and you will be amazed at the fact that everything is possible for him who believes. It really is. Try it yourself!

Thought for the day 11th of August 2011

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word about Christ” Romans 10:17.

A lot of people want to have power of faith and of positive thoughts, but they do not know how that faith comes and most people do just the opposite and run away from faith. They focus their attention on the wrong stuff. You have to connect to the source that transmits faith and belief into your mind and turn away from the source that raises doubts, fears and similar things.

People who are slaves of media will never have that power that faith gives, because media sows the negative stuff into people’s minds and hearts. Read the materials that give you peace, confidence and vision for the future and try to avoid those that give the opposite. There is a lot of motivational and inspirational material around which is much better than the stuff that the ‘grey mass’ (crowd) might offer you. Read things that make you stronger. I would strongly recommend the Bible. It is full of that positive inspiration I am talking about. And it will never develop wishful thinking in you. It will make you a positive realist. That’s what we want.
