“People so often develop limiting beliefs
about who they are and what they're capable of. Because they haven't succeeded
in the past, they believe they won't be able to succeed in the future. As a
result, out of their fear of pain, they begin to constantly focus on being
"realistic." Most people who constantly say, "Let's be
realistic," are really just living in fear, deathly afraid of being
disappointed again. Out of that fear, they develop beliefs that cause them to
hesitate, to not give their all—consequently they get limited results. Great
leaders are rarely "realistic" by Anthony Robbins.
I have already
written on two realities: visible and invisible. Your visible reality is based
on your five senses and your past experiences and would often place limitations
on you as they do not belong to the sphere of faith. Invisible reality is based
on faith. You may not find a logical explanation why you can be successful, but
if you believe you can you really can. Faith is one of the greatest powers in
the world. Anything great that has been achieved has been done by the power of
faith. No realists are remembered by history. People who were visionary, faith
men and women are remembered forever. Do you want to leave a trail in history?
Be a faith person and do not allow your past to control your future.
